The Rose

Rose
bud,
tightly
coiled petals
spirals on itself…
tiny, compact beautiful bud.
At sun’s warm nudge petals begin
to slowly relax
twist open
bursting
with
glee.

    I like the approach of using an example from the natural world which illustrates the Fibonacci sequence, while writing in the form to perfect count. Thanks for sharing with us at the Garden.
