Siren Sea
All alone on
this stretch of beach
no one to
breachmy solitude
None to obtrude
The waves ebb
and flow, to and fro
my heart
rate slowsthe world abates
at Neptune’s gates
She beckons,
but I am earthbound
Tied to the
groundLonging to be
Free as the sea
