Granny look!

I can swim.
Watch me.
Are you watching?
And he jumped
in the deep end
and went down
                            down
                                      down
                                                 up
                                       stood    
                                   I     
                  
ready to dive
heart in my throat
then he started up
and bobbed to the top.
He swam to me
so proud
of his choppy
dog paddle.
